Guxiangli mainly offers handmade noodle dishes, specializing in a variety of soup-filled dumplings. The brand founder, Mr. Shao, is well-known as the owner of Jirong Roast Duck Restaurant.
The soup-filled dumplings at Guxiangli have been continuously refined from the original recipe. They use premium black pork, and the filling process includes broth that has been simmered for several hours, making the taste fresh and not greasy. The dough-making process is even more intricate. To make the dough smooth, springy, thin, and unbroken, it must go through multiple steps such as kneading, pulling, and stretching.the fifthgeneration successor of Huang Jishan, the founder of soup-filled dumplings. Mr. Shao worked hard to obtain the secret recipe for the filling and learned the skills.
